This journey began with a deeply personal mission: to honor a dear friend who passed on from cancer. I wanted her beloved pup always to feel close to her, so I learned to sew bandanas to upcycle her cherished belongings into one-of-a-kind accessories. This heartfelt endeavor blossomed into PUPCYCLED, a place where pet parenting can be functional and sustainable. 

This mission was born from the love that my friend had for her fur baby and the comfort he gave her. In that spirit, I  will donate 20% of my proceeds to organizations that support those facing female cancers. This includes The Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance, which supports patients and research for female cancers. I will also support PAWS  in honor of her beloved pup, which provides support services for cancer patients’ pets (dog walkers, pet sitting, pet care costs, and more).

Thank you for supporting a small business built on love, charity, and the joy that only pets can bring. I feel that as a crafter herself, my friend would be honored that my work is not only for the love of pets, but also benefiting others who face a fight against cancer with their faithful friend at their side.
